Rhoda Mae (Zimmerman) Reynolds 81, of Lisbon, died at 1:20 PM Tuesday at her home with her family at her side. She was born on March 19, 1931 in Greenford, Ohio to the late Dean and Carrie (Donnelly) Zimmerman. Rhoda was a resident of the Greenford area for many years then moved to Newton Falls where she graduated in 1949. She later moved back to the area. She was a home maker and liked her home. She spent many hours working her gardens of flowers, herbs and vegetables. All that good produce was then used for her great cooking and canning recipes. When she was not with the family doing things, you could find her at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Leetonia or at home sewing, making her blue jean rugs and making homemade soap. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert W. "Bill" Reynolds, whom she married on March 6, 1951, her children, Robin (wife Cindy) Reynolds of Leetonia and Mandy (husband Rob) Pachner of New Springfield, Oh, a sister Joyce Spletzer, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister Mary Rose Justice. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012, 2 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Leetonia with the Pastor Kari Lankford officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 1 to 2 PM at the church. The family has requested that memorial contributions to the brick restoration fund of the St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
