Services will be on Thursday, 12 noon at the Faith Fellowship Church for Richard N. Beatty Jr., 60 of Lisbon, died at 11:04 PM Friday at Salem Community Hospital The Pastor Larry Paxson of the church will be officiating. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the services. The Salem Honor Guard will provide full military honors following the services at the church. He was born on May 25, 1953 in Salem, son of the late Richard N. and Sylvia G. (Styron) Beatty Sr.. He has lived his life in the Salem, Columbiana and Lisbon areas. He was a 1971 Graduate of David Anderson High School and attended Kent State University Salem Regional campus studying art. He was a US Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. He had been employed at Columbiana Parks Department, East Palestine China, Humtown Pattern and repaired appliances. He is survived by siblings, Virginia Freed of Lisbon, Nancy House with whom he resided in Lisbon, Betty Beatty of Kathleen, Ga., Debra Mohr of Salem, Linda Beatty of Salem, and Tina Oates of Columbus. Nine nieces, five nephews, seven great nieces, and five great nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Stephanie Beatty, a nephew Timothy Reynolds and a niece Sylvia Westover.
