Richard D. "Rick" Farrare 58, of Youngstown, died at 11:58 AM Monday, May 16, 2022, at UPMC-Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.

He was born on July 23, 1963, in Youngstown, the son of the late Frank and Dorothy Jean (Omlar) Farrare.

He was a graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School and was currently driving for Barr-Nunn Trucking Company. Rick was currently attending the First Free Methodist Church in Canfield.

Rick enjoyed the outdoors,fishing, boating, water skiing and tubing. He was very computer tech minded and helped to run sound system at church.

He is survived by his children: David (Jacqueline) Mercer of Salem, Tiffany (Ralph) Spotleson of Leetonia and Adam Mercer of Youngstown and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis (Mercer) Ferrare and a brother Robert Ferrare.

A time of visitation will be held on Monday, from 5-7 Pm at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem.
