Rita June (Rose) Jackson 77, of Salem, died at 9:15 am on Thursday, February 28 at Blossom Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born on June 11, 1941 in Salem, OH, the daughter of the late Bert and June (Polen) Rose.

She was Catholic by faith, and worked at various locations over the years. Some of these place were the Deming Pump Company, Schwartzs Dept Store, Salem Eagles and the Leetonia American Legion.

She is survived by her children, Holly Ruble-Joel of Salem, Scott Ruble of Salinesville, Mark (Maureen) Ruble of Orlando, FL, her step-children, Penny (Timothy) Stowers of Wellsville, Gary (Linda) Jackson of Leetonia, Melanie Jackson of Odessa, WA, her brother, Bert "Joe" (Elaine) Rose of Struthers, four grandchildren, Chase, Adam, Hannah and Jacob Ruble, four step-grandchildren, Darrian and Gary Jackson, Erin and Deidre Miller and three great-grandchildren, Ava, Owen and Carson Ruble.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Gary whom she married on June 12, 1987 and who died on May 20, 2018, her siblings, Peg Roush and Jimmy Rose.

A private family gathering and viewing was held at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services. The burial will be in Woodland Cemetery
