Robert D. Davis 64, of Rogers, died at 10:12 AM Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at his home with family.

He was a lifetime area resident of (Elkrun Township) Rogers. Rob grew up on the family property as did other family members over the years.

He attended Beaver Local Schools and growing up in the country brought out the love of nature in him. He was an avid gardener with bumper crops each year. He also had his small farm raising pigs and some cows. Rob had the true talent of many farmers that could spread it and talk it quiet well. He went off to work making parts for the steel mills until retirement. The heart of his was always back at the home place. The property opened up areas to hunt and trap as well as some good fishing. There was also a love for his Harley Davidson motorcycles. The Rogers Sale was a favorite place many could find him when the farm machinery came up for sale.

He is survived by his wife, Marsha Ann (Hawkins) Davis, brother Wilford Wayne (Virginia fka Bosley) Davis, sister-in-law Cindy (Gorby) Davis, nieces; Janie Marie (Davis) Slampak, Lori Lynn Davis, Amy Jo Davis and Rachael Dawn Davis, step children; Krissa Lynn Hawkins and Joshua Thomas Ritchey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilford B. and Ola Marie (Drake) Davis and his brother Michael Dean Davis.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, in the fellowship hall of the Rogers Real Life Assembly of God Church starting at 2 PM.
