Robert John Love, 44, of Salem, died at 7:59 A.M. Tuesday, August 20, 2019, in the Emergency Room of Salem Regional Medical Center following an apparent heart attack at his home.

He was born August 30, 1974, in Traverse City, Michigan, the son of John T. Love and Debra L. Poet

Rob enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with his friends. He worked at the Salem Car Wash for almost 20 years.

In addition to his father and stepmother Patricia (Oyer) Love of Cleveland and mother of Fort Myers, Florida, he is survived by two brothers, Petty Officer First Class Adam John Love, US Navy, of Jacksonville, Florida, and Dana Lee Rice of Chatsworth, Georgia, and maternal grandmother Dorothy Riggs of Fort Myers, Florida, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

There will not be a public service for Robert. The family asks that we keep memories of Robert in our hearts through prayer.
