Robert Julius Rathje 82, of East Liverpool, died at 2 PM on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at Covington Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation of East Palestine.

He was born March 8, 1942, in Queens, New York, the son of the late Julius and Margaret (Embusch) Rathje.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lea Victoria (Hrostoski) Rathje, whom he married October 15, 1966, his children; Gregory (Christine) Rathje, Justine (Daniel) Dailey, Matthew (Julie) Rathje, David (Julia) Rathje, his sister Lillian (George) Burton, and grandchildren; Lillian, Isabella, Nicholas, Sean, Luke, Brienne, and Jemma.

There are no services planned at this time.
