Robert G. Reese Jr 84, of Salem, died at 12:32 AM Friday, May 31, 2019 following a brief illness at Allay Senior Care, Canton.

He was born August 24, 1934, son of the late Robert and Rachel (Shontz) Reese Sr.

He retired in the late 1990's from GM Lordstown as an assembly line relief worker. He previously worked at Eljers in Salem.

Bob's number one thing was fishing. He had many memorable trips to Alaska, Canada and Lake Erie. He was a former member of sportsman clubs in Rochester, PA and currently Eastern Ohio Conservation Club where he was a trap shooter. Bob was a lifetime member of the Salem Italian-American Club.

Bob is survived by his children: David A. Reese of AZ., Judy A. Fisher of Salem, Linda Jarrett of Salem, Dorothy (Michael) DeMeo of Salem, and Diana Joyner of FL, sister Patricia Sullivan-Johnston of PA, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren, the mother of his children, Catherine Reese of FL, and his adorable cat Macy.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, James, Howard, Sam, and Jerry Reese, Virginia Brumbaugh, Marjorie Finlay and Shirley Guthrie, grandson Patrick Jarrett, son-in-law Bill Fisher, and his long time companion Linda Graham.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Crossroads Hospice and Allay Senior Care. The nurses, staff and care givers did a phenomenal job with Bob during his stay.
