Robert Henry Wheaton JR, 64, of Lisbon, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Salem Regional Medical Center.

He was born February 29, 1960, in Salem, son of the late Robert Henry Wheaton SR and Donna Louise (Meeks) Dilling.

Robert was a power washer for the residential contracting company MPW, LLC. In his younger years he enjoyed being outdoors and boating on the lake. He had a very diverse group of friends and family that he ran around with for many years. Robert's hobbies included sitting outside with a cold beverage, cookouts, fast cars, and anything Elvis.

He is survived by his son, Robert Henry Wheaton III, his siblings; Donald Dilling, Twila Zandt, Tammy Payne, George Dilling, Brian Dilling, Jessica Greathouse, and Jesse Dilling.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his stepfather, who raised him, Jesse Franklin Dilling and his sister Helen Duffield.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held 2-4 PM, Saturday June 1, 2024, at Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem.
