Ronald Dale Allen 65, of Lisbon, died at 1:30 AM Friday at Salem West Health Care Center following a lengthy illness.

Ron was born on December 26, 1952 in East Liverpool, Ohio, the son of the late Logan and Wilma (Slonaker) Allen.

He was an installer for Summer Fun Pools and Spas in Lisbon. Ron liked the outdoors and enjoyed going hunting and fishing. One of his favorite past times was hanging out with his buddies, playing games and listening to some good music.

Ron is survived by his wife, the former Alice Haught whom he married in 1981, his children Chris Allen of Salem and Josh Allen of Lisbon, siblings, Carol (Donnie) Miller of Clairington, Oh., Shelly (Jim) Anderson and Janet (Mike) Geibel both of Chester, WV, and a grandson Damon Allen.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Kay Raneri.

There will be no services held. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
