Obituary

Ronald Lee Hoffmaster 74, of Salem, died at 5:42 AM Monday in the Emergency Room of River Valley Health Partners / East Liverpool City Hospital of an apparent Heart Attack. He was born on December 27, 1940 in Salem, the son of the late Frank H. and Vanetta (Shirley) Hoffmaster. He was employed at EW Bliss for many years then Oil Gear Co. until his retirement in 2009. He served during the Vietnam war in the US Marine Corp. He is survived by his wife, the former Teresita Sorrano Yutuc, whom he married on October 28, 1967, his children, John Glenn (Kellie) Yutuc of Lexington, Ohio, Steven Paul (Maria) Hoffmaster of Poland, Ohio and Robert Lynn Hoffmaster of Salem, a sister Jeanette Roberts of Cincinnatti, Ohio, two grandchildren, Kayla and Isabella Hoffmaster. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 7 siblings, Winona, Paul, Clyde, Albert, Helen and Lowell Hoffmaster and Francis Kinsey. A time of visitation will be from 5 to 8 PM Thursday with a service at 8 PM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen and Sons Funeral and Cremation servcies. Salem. The Rev. Aimee and the Rev. Louis Raymond will co-officiate the services. The burial will be in Hope Cemetery. The Salem Honor Guard will provide military honors at the conclusion of the services.
