Obituary

Ronda Jean (Burbick) Agee, a woman whose life was defined by an unwavering devotion to others, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2026, at 10:25 PM at the Hospice House in Poland, Ohio. Born on October 15, 1974, in Youngstown, Ronda carried a bright spirit and a nurturing heart through her fifty-one years, leaving an indelible mark on every life she touched. A proud 1993 graduate of South Range High School, she rooted her life in faith and service, having been baptized at Greenford Christian Church.

Ronda’s professional journey was a testament to her innate desire to care for those in need. Beginning her career as an EMT, she possessed the grit and compassion required for emergency medicine before furthering her education to become a Registered Nurse. Throughout her career, she served patients at hospitals in Youngstown and Akron and eventually worked for the State of Ohio, where she ensured the highest standards of care through nursing home survey work. Beyond the clinical setting, Ronda’s heart for caregiving extended into her personal life; she found great joy as a foster mother and a nanny, always stepping in to provide a safe and loving environment for children.

To Ronda, family was not just a priority—it was her entire world. She was the beloved wife of Ross Kevin Agee and a pillar of strength for her five children. Her presence was a constant in the lives of Caleb William Agee of Columbiana, Ayden Quinn Agee of Canfield, and Sophia Pearl, Lacie Rae, and Summar Skye Agee, all of Cleveland. Her legacy of love further bloomed with the birth of her granddaughter, Emerie Rain Wilson, who brought a special sparkle to her later years. Whether she was meticulously planning trips to Florida, navigating the magic of Disney, or braving the heights at Cedar Point, Ronda was happiest when surrounded by her children, making memories that would last a lifetime.

Ronda is survived by her husband Ross, her father Ronald Alan Burbick, brother Brian (Rebecca) Burbick, and sister Stephanie (Rodney) Murphy. She now joins her mother Sandra Jean Burbick, and her sister and brother-in-law Staci and Ronald Solvesky, who preceded her in death. Those who knew Ronda will fondly remember her as a woman who was always connected, often found with her cell phone in hand as she checked in on loved ones or captured moments of joy. She was a woman of action, movement, and profound kindness.

A celebration of life service will be on Saturday, May 9, 2026, 2 PM at the Youngstown Shrine Club (1735 W. South Range Rd. North Lima, Ohio 44452), visitation is 1 hour prior to services. Her warmth and smile remain a comforting light for all who were lucky enough to call her family or friend.
