Rubie M. Schnurrenberger, 93, of Salem, died at 9:20 AM Friday April 12 at Essex 2 in Salem. She was born May 25, 1919 in Greenford, a daughter of the late Grover C. and Mary (Herron) Schnurrenberger. She graduated from Greenford High School in 1937. She was member of Salem Senior Citizens and Retired Workers of Salem, and A.A.R.P. She had worked for 43 years as a bookkeeper for Mc Culloch's, Schwartz's, and Hansell's stores in Salem, retiring in 1984. She was preceded in death by her brother Wilbur D. Schnurrenberger. She is survived by a niece Dorrette (Charles) Cavanaugh and her two children and two grandchildren. No services or calling hours to be held.
