Sandra June (Dudley) Custer 84, of Columbiana, died at 7:45 on Wednesday, October 2, 2024, at Aultman Alliance Community Hospital.

She was born on October 24, 1939, in Salem, Ohio, the daughter of the late Ash and Thalia (Barnes) Dudley.

Sandy worked at Kaiser National Refractories for over 20 years. She enjoyed having and going to yard sales and was always on the lookout for anything frog related to add to her collection. Sandy had a no nonsense personality and always spoke her peace, and then some. She was caring and would give the shirt off her back to help anyone out. Sandy's grandchildren and great grandkids meant the world to her.

She is survived by son, Charles (Ramona) Custer JR of New Waterford, brother Bernie (Joyce) Dudley of Salem, sister Janet Phillips of Berlin Center, she will be sadly missed and forever in the hearts of her grandchildren, who affectionately called her Honey; Heather Patterson of Leetonia, Tiffany (Ben) Ballard of Washingtonville, Lindsey Custer, Ramona (Chad) Richoz of Girard, Michael Sparks of Leetonia, Jason Sparks of Georgia, and 9 great grandchildren; Arizona, Lena, Peyton, Brynn, Averee, Haislee, Landon, Jacob, and Kierstin.

In addition to her parents, Sandy was preceded in death by her husband Charles Custer SR, daughter Tammy L. Sadosky, 4 brothers; Bill, Ronny, Harold, and Bob Dudley, and 2 great grandchildren; Madison and Aiden Ballard.
