SARA L. HIPPELY & JAMES E. HIPPELY Together Again Sara L. (Sunderman) Hippely 86, of Lisbon, Formerly of Salem died at 8:58 PM Monday, January 28, 2013 at Hospice House in Poland where she had been for a day. She was born on November 25, 1926 in St. Mary's, W. Va. To the late Howard and Mary (Berkhiemer) Sunderman. She was a home maker, a former member and co-founder of Southeast Friends Church. She had been a secretary for 37 years of the Friends yearly meeting. She is survived by a son Dan M.(wife Margie) Hippely of Lisbon with whom she made her home, siblings, Margaret Helmick and Nancy Lewis of Salem, Virginia Hull of Lisbon and Leo (wife Betty) Sunderman of Hanoverton, eleven grandchildren, Julie Berg, Wendy Griggs, Trisha Southall, Jess Reed, Audra Burchfield, Alix Burchfield, Jason Hippely, Aaron Hippely, Sara Armstrong and Kelly Wood, twenty one great grandchildren. She is preceded in death on January 15, 2002 by her husband, James E. Hippely whom she married on March 21, 1945, a son Richard, siblings, William and Julian Sunderman. A time of visitation will be held from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM on Thursday at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral Home, Salem. The services will immediately follow at 12:30 PM.
