Thelma Virginia (Plum) Rickerd 75, of Lisbon, passed away at 5:30 am on Monday, July 17, 2017 at Vista Center of Boardman.

She was born on March 11,1942 in St. Marys, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Ernie and Thelma (Scadden) Plum.

Virginia was a very artistic person. She loved drawing and painting. She also enjoyed reading.

She is survived by her children, Casey (Patty) Rickerd of East Liverpool, Crystal (Kenny) Williams of East Liverpool, Peggy Joe of Akron, her grandchildren,Tonya D. Bates, Earl R. Barnes, Douglas R. Barnes, Kenneth D. Williams, Jaime A. Rickerd, Sarah D. (Zachary) Davis, Emily C. Williams, Caitlyn E. Williams, twenty great-grandchildren, her siblings, Carol (William) Stillwell of East Liverpool, and Grace Louise Gleason of Warren. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her children, William Bates and Terry Hess. Services will be held on Saturday, July 29 at 2:30pm at the Virginia Ave. Church of Christ, Chester, WV, with Paster Rico Brown officiating.
