Theresa Alice Rodgers 91, of Austintown, (formerly of Girard) died at 6:40 PM Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at Briarfield Manor.

She was born on May 18, 1934, in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Robert and Hazel D. (Christmas) Rodgers.

She was a graduate of Girard High School and was a sketch artist for the advertising department of McKelvey's Department Store.

She is survived by her son, Michael P. Rodgers and a granddaughter, Theresa Alice Rodgers.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Johnny, Eddie, Joe and Jimmy Rodgers and two sisters, June Newell and Mary Garrett.

Services will be on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 2 PM in Girard Liberty Union Cemetery with Chap. Paul Iden officiating.

Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem.

Her nephew and niece would like to thank the doctors, staff, and management of Briarfield Manor for all the love and care they extended to Theresa. A very special thanks is extended to Lana for her extra special personal love shown during her stay as well as her case manager, Lenore.
