Thomas Vincent Grier III (aka Thomas Lee Grier III), 38, of Canton, Ohio passed away at 5:35 p.m on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at Salem Regional Medical Center.

He was born on May 19, 1982 in Canton to his parents; the late Thomas Grier Jr., and Donna (Shackleford) Grier.

Thomas had been employed at the Goodwill store in Canton for a time as part of the custodial staff. He was a huge sports fan, both having played sports and as a supporter his favorite teams whether basketball or football. He was mostly a tried and true fan of the Cleveland Browns. Thomas enjoyed cooking and equally enjoyed eating. He had a fondness for music and especially took pleasure in making music on the keyboard. Thomas was a very laid back, chill, easy-going person. He looked forward to spending time with his children. They could often be found spending their time together playing video games. Thomas held those he considered family, and friends that were held as dear as family, very deep in his heart. He was as loyal of a friend as you would every hope to find and if you were fortunate to be a part of this special circle, you could count yourself blessed. He will be dearly missed.

Along with his mother, Thomas is survived by his children; Naomi, Mario, Brock, and Brynn Bell.

In addition to his father, Thomas is preceded in death by his brother; Jestin Grier who passed away in 2005.
