Thomas Wesley Wilson 65, of North Benton, died unexpectedly at 9:30 AM Saturday, September 26, 2015, in his room after having breakfast in the dining room at the Courtyard on Lexington Avenue in Salem. He was born on June 3, 1950 in Alliance, Ohio, the son of the late Mervin and Virgia (Howell) Wilson. He was a linesman for First Energy (Ohio Edison), Salem Division for many years and retired in 2010. Tom was a member of the Conrad Masonic Lodge # 271 F & AM, Alliance, Oh. ( Past Master 1983, 2006), 32 Degree Scottish Rite Mason in the Valley of Canton, Royal Arch Masons Chapter # 83, Alliance, Oh (Past High Priest 1980, 1997), Royal & Select Mason Council # 112, Alliance, Oh., Knight Templar Commandry # 67, Alliance, Oh.. Former member of the Tab-Mor Shriners, Akron, Oh (Keystone Cops Unit), Alliance Shrine Club Flag Unit, Served in the Eastern Star, Palmy Chapter # 114 (Past Worthy Patron) and assisted taking members to various meetings. He had many hobbies he enjoyed over the years. A coin, stamp and charming tails collector, model railroading, and sailing his boat. He liked buying cars and trucks, a bee keeper, a history buff and a member of the local yacht club. His favorite music group was the Rolling Stones. He is survived by his daughter, Christy Lynn (Kevin) Fay of Medina, Oh., care giver and mother of his daughter Lynda (Crites) Wilson of Deerfield, Oh., a sister Jerry Lynn (George) Summers of East Liverpool, Oh., a grand daughter, Xanthia Fay, nieces and nephews, Theresa Crawford, James Summers and George Summers Jr. Services to be held on Friday, October 2, 2015, 4 PM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem. The Pastor Tony Livigni will be officiating the services, the burial will be in Hartzell Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 2 to 4 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
