IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Timothy Wesley
Springer
December 5, 1982 – July 26, 2014
Pastor Timothy Wesley Springer, 31 entered into the joys of His Lord on July 26, 2014 after a valiant struggle with cancer. He was born on December 5, 1982 in Pharr, Tx., son of Sheron Lynne (Younts) Springer-Lambeth and the late Rev. Timothy Alan Springer. He started his missionary life early as his parents were ministering in Mexico when he was born. From a child Wesley had a tender spirit and was very conscientious. He always had a heart for God. As he grew those desires increased and the resulted in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Along with his brothers he enjoyed working side by side with his Dad there he first learned mechanics. At age 18 Wesley's Dad went to heaven due to kidney cancer. Wesley being the oldest son still at home stepped up to support his Mom and be a good example to his younger siblings. Four years later Wesley felt the call to go to Bible School with a mission major. His first year he attended Dayspring Bible College in Colorado Springs. Then he transferred to Allegheny Wesleyan Bible College in Salem, Ohio. During these years his call grew stronger to go as a full time missionary. He traveled to both Dominca West Indies and Peru on Short mission trips. These only proved to strengthen his call and desire to enter full time mission work. While in college traveling with the PR group in the summer of 2009 he met Teresa Gregg in Beaver City, Nebraska. She became the love of his life. They married the following year on June 19, 2010, They made Salem, Ohio their home while Wesley finished his final year of college. He graduated with a Missions Major. After Graduation he accepted the call to pastor in Canton, Ohio at Canton Second Wesleyan Methodist Church. The next summer God sent a perfect baby girl, Jenessa Lynae to steal her Daddy's heart. Six short months later Wesley was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma. Accepting God's plan from the very beginning he was an inspiration to all of us. Through pain and uncertainty he kept working as much as possible as well as pasturing his church. He always has an encouraging word for each of us. His sense of humor lifted us many times. To sum it up he lived like "a man who was ready to live or die" even to the very last he was concerned for others, his greatest desire was that his family meet him in Heaven. He will live forever in our hearts and memories. In addition to his mother and step father, David Lambeth of Thomasville, NC., he is survived by his wife, the former Teresa Elizabeth Gregg, his daughter Jenessa Lynae Springer of the home, siblings, Jonathan (Renee) Springer of Edinburgh, Tx., Joseph (Lauren) Springer of Ft. Thomas, Ky., and Sarah (Seth) Godaire of Ft. Riley, Ks., and three nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Thursday at 2 PM at the Canton First Wesleyan Methodist Church.
