Tod A. Shaffer 29, of Austintown, died at 10:02 PM Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at Mercy Health/St. Elizabeth Hospital – Youngstown follow complications to COVID.

He was born on September 7, 1992 in Youngstown, the son of Christina (Shaffer) Carpenter of Niles and Willard Lane of Youngstown.

He was a 2012 graduate of Girard High School and was last working for Comprehensive Liquidations. He attended the Evening Light Apostolic Church in Niles. Tod was a laid back funny dude. He enjoyed spending time playing video games especially with his brother. A man who enjoyed his family and spending time with them. He was a big football fan and loved the Ravens.

He is survived by his wife, Nikita (Coots) Shaffer whom he married on February 14, 2015, his children; Dakotah DeFrank, Tod Shaffer Jr., Carson Shaffer and Maverick Shaffer, Brother; Timothy (Jessica) Walters of Girard.

He was preceded in death by a brother Joshua Shaffer in 1994.

Services will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021, 5 Pm with the Rev. Darryl Cline officiating. A time of visitation will from 4 to 5 Pm at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem
