Toni Tocci 52 of Salem, formerly of of the East Side of Chicago, passed away Monday, July 17, 2017 in the emergency room at Salem Regional Medical Center. He was born on July 5, 1965, in Chicago, IL, the son of Joseph and the late Maria (Gnisci) Tocci. In addition to his father, he is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Tocci, his granddaughters, Serenity Rose and Olivia Maria, his sister, Rose (Matt) Clary, his nieces and nephews, Matthew and Kaitlin Clary, Andy, Nick, and Elizabeth Tocci and his caregiver, Dawn McNemar of Salem. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his brother, Pete Tocci. Visitation will be held Sunday 1-8 pm. Funeral Services Monday, July 24, 2017 at 11:30 am at the Elmwood Funeral Chapel, 11300 W. 97th LN (1/2 block west of US 41/Wicker Ave. at 97th LN.) St. John then St. John the Evangelist Church – Day Chapel (Corner of 93rd and 41). Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 noon at Interment Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, IL. Local arrangements were handled by Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services.
