She was born on September 22, 1920 in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of the late William M. and Hazel (Bashaw) Shores. She was a home maker and a member of the Jerusalem Lutheran Church in Columbiana. She is survived by her children, Carol Ann (Donald) Burbick of Columbiana and Barry (Sharon) Karnofel of Leetonia, a sister Betty Heestand of Leetonia, nine grandchildren and 6 grest grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Steve Karnofel in 1967, Frank Morrocco in 1980 and Wilmer Leroy Palmer in 2009, a daughter Kathy Burbick and a son William Karnofel. A Private family funeral service will be held on Thursday. Rev. Sean Myers of the church will officiate. The burial will follow in the Hope Cemetery in Salem.
