Vicki Lynn Sevek 60, of Salem, died at 11:10 AM Tuesday at Salem Regional Medical Center in Salem. She was born on June 4, 1954 in Salem, daughter of the late Frank James Sevek Sr. and Deloris Mae (Campbell) Sevek. She has been a resident of the area most of her life. A 32 year employee at Blackhawk Ind. Where she last worked in the shipping/receiving warehouse. A 1972 Graduate of Southern Local High School, a member of the former St. Patrick Catholic Church in Salineville. She loved to garden and have her vegetable garden, doing things for her nieces and nephews, and a diehard animal lover. Her favorite time of year was the fourth of July. She could put on such a celebration that it could put others to shame. She was a person who liked to keep things just in case you need it some day. She is survived by siblings, Irene A. (Calvin) Sevek-Sell, Timothy E. (Tonya) Sevek, step mother Violet Sevek all of Salineville, Ohio, Her care giver and room mate Brenda Jenkins of Salem, many nieces and nephews and other adopted relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother Frank James Sevek Jr. Services will be held on Friday, 1 PM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem. The Fr. Steven Wassie of St. Paul's Catholic Church will officiate. The burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park, Beloit, Ohio. A time of visitation will be from 11 AM to 1 PM on Friday.
