Vivian A. Mancuso, 93

Vivian Mancuso 93, of Salem, died at Sterling House on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at 12:10 p.m.

Viv was born on November 2, 1920, in Salem, a daughter of Burton and Elizabeth (Wray) Reynolds. She graduated from Salem High School in 1938.

Viv married Ralph J. Mancuso on May 25, 1946; they enjoyed 60 years of marriage before he died on April 13, 2006.

She worked at Murphy's and, later, managed Monique Fabrics in downtown Salem.

Viv is survived by a daughter, Cindy (Joe) Rottenborn of Salem; a son, Spike (Gail) of Sharpsville, PA; four grandchildren (Mary [Jeff] Kozlowski and Bo [Julie Ann] Rottenborn; Keith Mancuso and Tony Mancuso); two great-grandchildren (Luke and Kelly Kozlowski); and beloved nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her cat, Ty.

Viv was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, her parents, three sisters, Edie Minamyer, Mabel Reynolds, and Mary Rheutan, and a brother, Bill.

There will be no services or calling hours held.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any contributions be made in Vivian Mancuso's name to The Salvation Army, 1249 N. Ellsworth, Salem, OH 44460.
