William Samuel Jones 75, of East Palestine, died at 10:43 AM, Monday, January 27, 2025, at the Hospice of the Valley Hospice House in Poland, Ohio.

He was born January 9, 1950, in Youngstown, Ohio, the son of the late William C. and Rose L. (Lombardo) Jones.

William loved driving his semi over the road, and had drove over 7 million miles. He was an avid race car fan from Formula 1 to Indy, and Nascar. Wiliam and Karen were big fans of the Cleveland Guardians and enjoyed watching them together.

He is survived by Karen Bucher his life partner of 15 years, and his children Tracy (Robin) Hoopes, Kim (Mike) Conley, Kelly (Jeff) Swindle, J.W (Whitney) Allison, John (Stephanie) Bucher, and Tiffany Bucher, and son-in-law Ricky Burkett, as well as 19 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Jodie (Macek) Jones and daughter Michelle Burkett.

There are no services planned at this time.
