Bill & Irene "Together Again" William H. Moore, 86, of Beloit, died at 11:40 AM Wednesday at his home with his family at his side. He was born November 13, 1926 in Meeker, Ohio, son of the late Boyd E. and Sarah (Clark) Moore. He lived in the area most of his life. He married Irene Crew January 15, 1945, she preceded him in death on October 26, 1989.He was a retired truck driver from Anchor Motor Freight, had also been an independent driver for a time. He had also worked at the Lincoln- Mercury dealership as a mechanic. He was a World War II Army veteran where he received the World War II Victory Medal He was a member of the Lisbon Lions Club and the Marion Moose Lodge #889.He is survived by his children Don (Judy) Moore, Nancy Smith, Bill (Janet) Moore, Chuck (Nina) Moore, Cheryl (Don) Herr, David (Susan) Moore, and son-in-law John Collins. Also Surviving are 18 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law Betty Hoopes, and 10 nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and his wife he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ruth Clark and Joan Imbody, a daughter Patricia Collins, and a grandson Greg Smith. Services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen and Sons Funeral Home with Chaplain Donald Herr officiating. Calling hours will be from 9 to 11 Am Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Highland Memorial Park where Military Honors will be conducted by the Salem Honor Guard.
