Arthur B. Sanders

Arthur B. Sanders 70, of Kensington, died at 12:05 PM Sunday, February 20, 2022, at his home.

He was born on May 22, 1951, in Salem, the son of the late Dave and Thelma (Hartzell) Sanders.

He had worked at both Eljers and Quaker City Castings in Salem. Arthur was a true outdoors man. He loved to go hunting and fishing in the area and made some trips to Canada. Arthur was also a skilled tomahawk thrower.

He enjoyed the country living and riding around on his side by side. The social clubs in Salem was where he often relaxed with all his friends. The family put together a nice 70th birthday party last year that allowed many to spend time with him.

He is survived by his son; Shawn A. (Emily) Sanders of Kensington, siblings; John (Pat) Sanders of Sebring, Mark (Lisa) Sanders and Tammy Fiets both of Salem, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jason R. Sanders, an infant daughter, a brother Dave Sanders and one grandchild.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on March 26, from 12 to 5 Pm at the Salem Eagles Club.
