Bonnie Ann McCloskey, known affectionately as Bonnie, passed away on November 8, 2023, in Salem, Ohio, at the age of 62.
She was born on May 17, 1961, in Cleveland, to the late Fred and Iris (Toothman) McGuire.
Bonnie will be fondly remembered for her captivating blue eyes and infectious smile. She possessed a green thumb and had a talent for nurturing plants back to health. Her rose bushes and other plants were always vibrant and abundant. Bonnie had a passion for hiking and exploring the trails of various Metroparks, especially those featuring waterfalls, which she adored. Photography was more than just a hobby for Bonnie; it was her true passion. Her adventurous and playful spirit shone through in her photographs. Above all, Bonnie cherished her family deeply, and her love for them knew no bounds. Whenever you spot a butterfly fluttering by, know that it is Bonnie saying hello.
She is survived by her children, Krystyna Shannon of Ashtabula, Kaitlynn McCloskey of Ravenna, Kian McCloskey of Ashtabula, and Killian McCloskey of PA. Bonnie is also survived by her siblings, Betty McGuire of California and Freddie McGuire of Cleveland, as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
