Brent Allen Delmont

Brent Allen Delmont, 60, of Salem, died at 1:44 PM on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Salem Regional Medical Center of an apparent heart attack.

He was born November 30, 1962, in Salem, son of Maxine Margaret (Davidson) Kelly and the late Florie Telford Delmont JR.

Brent was a heavy equipment operator and worked for Du-All Services.  He previously spent some time in West Virginia as a mining supervisor. He was an avid Steelers fan and loved to watch and play golf. Brent was very passionate about Harley Davidson motorcycles and loved classic cars. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, taking time to relax, bend the elbow while telling some good jokes.

Brent is survived by his Mother of Salem and his Mother Sondra (Cyphert) Delmont of Salem, children Amber Petty and Tristian Delmont both of Cardington, his siblings Margie (David) Leyman of Lisbon, Timothy (Wendy) Delmont of North Benton, Marlene (Steve) Conley of Florida, Christina (Robert) Abrams of Berlin Center, Marie Henninger of Inidana, and Anthony Delmont of Lisbon, as well as 2 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 2004 Georgina (Reagan) Delmont.

A time for visitation will be Saturday, July 22, 2023, 1-3 PM at the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services in Salem.

There has been a fund set up at the funeral home for anyone wishing to make a donation in lieu of flowers.
