Charles David Price III, 71, of Salem, passed away at 1:16 p. m., on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, at Salem Regional Medical Center.
He was born on March 19, 1950, in Salem, to his late parents; Charles David and Mary (Shivers) Price Jr.
Charles was a 1968 graduate of Salem High School. Music was very much a part of his life. While in high school he played the bass guitar and continued to throughout the years that followed. After high school, he attended Kent State University and received a Mechanical Engineering Degree. This opened up many employment opportunities for him. Charles married his sweetheart; Jane (Kozjan) Price III in the fall of 1972. Together they have shared 49 years building a wonderful life together. Charles was a quiet man by nature and enjoyed being a “homebody”. However, spending the day fishing suited him just fine too. At home, he liked to keep busy and you could always find him working around the house or designing something. He would thoroughly immerse himself in the computer, which became the source of many of his ideas and inspirations. While Charles may have preferred to stay close to home, getting out and sharing a good meal with good friends was always enjoyed.
Along with his wife, Charles is survived by sons; Matthew Price of Twinsburg, Ian Price of Valrico, FL, 4 grandchildren, siblings; Patricia Crone of Morgan Hill, CA, Norman (Bev) Price of Cullman, AL, Mary Price, and Debbie (Gary) Walker both of Apple Valley, OH, Alan Price and Richard (Lisa) Price both of Salem, John (Mary) Price of AZ, Sister-in-law; Connie Price of Salem.
In addition to his parents, Charles is preceded in death by his brother Jim Price.
There will be no services at this time.
Care was entrusted by the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral & Cremation Services of Salem, OH.
