Chloe Chappell Obituary

Chloe Elizabeth Chappell, age 22 died tragically Sunday morning following an automobile accident.

Chloe Elizabeth was born into this world June 1, 2001, with a spirit that was intended to change the world. She was known for her fiery personality, her driven ambition, and the grit to effectively lead others. But, she was also known to be highly sensitive, freely giving, compassionate and forever forgiving.

Chloe graduated from Salem High School in 2019 and from there began her college career at Akron University. During the pandemic, Chloe transferred to Kent State University where she would begin the long and arduous task of becoming a nurse. Chloe was two semesters away from obtaining her BSN with a minor in Spanish. Her greatest attraction in the nursing field was obstetrics. Although she was conflicted with the medical profession, the one thing we all knew without fail, she was meant to care for others.

Chloe was a beautifully passionate person, had many interests and hobbies. She believed in empowerment of underprivileged communities, her most notable contribution was to the the LAKOTA Sioux Tribe located in South Dakota on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation. She was an avid animal lover, spent her younger years volunteering at Angels for Animals and helping grandma with her horse farm. She loved to travel, was privileged to spend a semester studying abroad in Salamanca Spain. Chloe believed in naturopathic medicine, believed the earth provides all that we need to foster a healthy body. She enjoyed cooking and baking. She loved the outdoors; was often paddling her dad's lake or hiking the woods with her beloved brother. She owned a vast collection of plants for which she tenderly cared for, and a cherished collection of crystals for which she knew the origin and benefits and frequently adorned.

Chloe is survived by her parents: Christian "Chris" Mark Chappell of Salem, Ohio and Elizabeth Ann (Melody) Chappell of Imperial, Pennsylvania, her brother, Christian Elliott Chappell, whom she shared the most remarkable sibling affection with, Paternal grandmother Sarah S "Sally" (Snowball) Chappell, Maternal grandparents, Judi J (Majors) Melody and John R "Jack" Melody.

She was proceeded in death by her paternal grandfather, Ned R Chappell and her Uncle Shawn M Chappell
