Connie Lynn (Miles) Haught 66, of Salem, died at 10:30 AM Thursday at St. Elizabeth Hospital/Mercy Health in Boardman.
She was born on October 4, 1954, in Sterling Heights, Mich., the daughter of Morven and Christine (Cupp) Miles.
Connie worked in restaurants tending to the bar during her life. Her real desire was to head out to Guilford Lake to relax, go camping at West Branch and have a nice time fishing. The outdoors was always where she liked to be. The birds and squirrels always kept a close watch on her many bird feeders. They gave her pleasure when out in her flower gardens. She may not have been a big social person, but the computer made it easy with Facebook and sharing on forums of various topics.
The Rogers Sale was always a big hit with her. It gave her a chance to look for good bargains and maybe find another item to add to her huge Betty Boop collection. The one thing that she enjoyed most in life was family times. The meals over the holidays and gatherings. The family going out for dinner, or other family events. The time spent with her grandchildren gave her a warm heart and a smile on her face.
Connie will be truly missed by all her family and friends. She was always there for people, no matter what the problem was. Her caring, giving and kindness will always be remembered by those close to her.
She is survived by her husband, Henry L. Haught whom she married on November 28, 1998, her children; Richard Jennings of Alabama, Angel (William) Day of Salem, James (Kelly) Jennings of West Branch and a stepson, Justin (Leah) Haught of Champion, thirteen grandchildren, siblings; Melanie Jennings, Walter, and Richard Miles.
She was preceded in death by siblings; Arlo and Danna Miles.
