David Neal Obituary

David Eugene Neal, 69, of Salem, Ohio, loving father, grandfather, brother, and uncle passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Salem West Healthcare after a brief illness.

He was born on October 30, 1951 in Rapid City, South Dakota to his parents, the late Eugene and Beverly Ann (Rossum) Neal. He graduated from Central High School.

From a young age, David enjoyed golfing and spent a great deal of time at the golf course along with playing cards at the clubhouse. David enjoyed working for his uncle; Don Green, at Rapid Tank in the 70's. From there he worked in sales, mostly in the fire extinguisher/sprinkler system industry. He traveled a great deal for work, but always found time to enjoy a round of golf! He enjoyed spending time with his family, as well as fishing, hunting and boating. David was a people person and made friends everywhere.

David is survived by his sons; Troy (Wendy) Neal of Tomball, Texas, Deven Neal of Salem, Ohio, sisters; Susan Neal of Elko, Nevada, Barb (David) Harrison of Salt Lake City, Utah, as well as 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, 1 niece, 3 nephews, aunts and cousins.

In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by his sister Cathy Ann (Neal) Gall.

David will be greatly missed by all who loved him. The family request in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts be made in David's name to Storybook Island at https.//storybookisland.org or a charity of choice.

There will be no services.
