Edward T Jones Jr.

Edward T. Jones Jr., 73, of Kensington, died at 2:51 pm., on Monday, April 4, 2022, in the emergency room of Salem Regional Medical Center.

He was born on March 19, 1949, in Akron, the son of the late Edward T. and Ora May (Phillips) Jones.

Ed was a very busy person over the years and was always working from a young age. He was one to travel all over the United States to where work could be found and then move on. Ed had numerous businesses that he started and operated throughout his life. All his life experiences surely helped him when it came to telling those great stories of his! Ed had a way about him that could come across as being strong headed, and you knew it by the way of the discussion one might have with him. Ed also served in the United States Marine Corp. There was a time in his life where he found interest in going hunting. Ed always was one to be wrenching on cars. He always made time to be with his grandchildren over the years. A time of relaxation to him was watching those old western shows and movies.

He is survived by his wife; Betty Jane (Nice) Jones, children; Charles Bruce (Maegan) Jones of Salem and Daisy Jane (David Jr.) DiSanto of Clinton, OH., grandchildren; Clarissa and Makayla Jones, Olivia and Emily DiSanto, and Elizabeth and Breanna Ratcliff.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings; Charles and William Jones and Theosa Nice.

There will be no services held at this time.
