Everett “Larry” Lawrence Wellendorf 78, of Salem, passed away at 11:32 PM Friday,October 13, 2023, at his home surrounded by family.

He was born on April 25, 1945, in Beaver, PA., the son of the late Fay and Virginia(Perkins) Wellendorf.

Larry was a 1965 graduate of Greenford High School. He was a truck mechanic for 20 years for the Ohio Turnpike Commission and retired in 2008. Larry enjoyed nature, fishing, camping, doing barn projects with his son, and going with his son on trips in his son's semi. He also loved visiting Clearwater, Florida with his wife.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Toni Jeanne (Morrison) Wellendorf, whom he married on August 20, 1965, his children; Brian S. (Richelle) Wellendorf of Lisbon, Vicki A. (Tim) Brewer of Salem, and Karin L. (Keith Updegraff) Wellendorf of Ind. His sister Barbara (Mac) McPeak of Florida, brothers Kenneth (Martha) Wellendorf of Mansfield, and Teddy Wellendorf of Austintown., 7 grandchildren; Corey Wellendorf, Kaci (John) Sarchione, Karissa Wellendorf, Caleb Brewer, Alicia (Gregg) Carpenter, Weslee (Chelsea) Withers, Emilee (Danta) D’Ovidio, and 16 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his brother Donald Wellendorf.

There will be no services at this time.
