Kay D. (Anderson) Dickey, 71, of Salem, passed away at her home early Thursday morning on October 27, 2022, following a courageous battle with PSP.
Kay was the most kind and selfless wife, mother, daughter and grandma. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She was born on August 22, 1951 in Salem, the daughter of the late Donald and Edith (Butler) Anderson.
Kay attended Salem City Schools, and was very well known as the lady who filled the vending machines at Salem Regional Medical Center. She had been employed by Canteen Vending for over 40 years.
She loved spending time with her family, (especially her grandchildren) going out to dinner, watching movies and visiting Disney World.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 35 years, Charles (Chuck) Dickey whom she married on August 29, 1987, her two daughters; Tracy and Kelli Bentley both of Salem, siblings; Cheryl (Mark) Sabatino, Chad (Lori) Anderson and Donald "Pete" (Delores) Anderson, three grandchildren; Kaylyn Beiling, Ashley and Braeden Winter, as well as several nieces and nephews and her grand dog, Dean.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on November 13, 2022, from 2-4 pm at Salem Italian Club, 250 Penn Avenue, Salem, Ohio 44460.
Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Arbaugh-Pearce-Greenisen & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, Salem.
