Linda Kay Beatty 60, of Alliance, (formerly of Salem) died at 10 Am Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Canterbury Villa.
She was born on February 22, 1961, in Salem, the daughter of the late Richard and Sylvia (Styron) Beatty Sr.
Linda worked as a prep cook at the Das Dutch Haus and the American Legion in Columbiana, as well as Italo’s Pizza in Lisbon. She had also worked at Goodwill Industries in the Youngstown facility. She was a member of the support group NAMI (National Alliance of Mentally Ill) and the Salem Community Center.
Linda enjoyed the beauty of this country, liked to travel around visiting places and spend time at the beach. She expressed her happiness by singing and dancing to the music.
She is survived by her sisters; Tina Oates of Lancaster, and Debra Mohr of Salem.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings; Virginia Freed, Nancy House, Stephanie Beatty, Betty Beatty, and Richard Beatty Jr.
A time of fellowship and remembrance to Celebrate the Life of Linda will be held on October 30, 2021, at the Salem Amvets Post # 45, 750 S. Broadway Avenue, Salem. (use the door on the left side of the building). The Rev. Robert Mohr Jr, (her nephew) will be officiating the service at 3 PM. The time of fellowship will start at 2 PM until 6 PM
