Linda "Bunny" Sue (Keihl) Weingart

Linda Sue “Bunny” (Keihl) Weingart, 75, of Green Twp., in Salem, OH, passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Mercy Health Hospital in Boardman.

She was born on October 16, 1946, in Parkerburg, WV, to her late parents; Clement and Kathleen (Keiser) Keihl.

Bunny was employed as a waitress over the years at places such as, Denny’s, Ike’s, and LK Restaurant to name a few. She was also an Avon representative. She was a June bride and married her husband; Keith in 1979. They were married for 42 wonderful years before her passing. Bunny embraced her nickname to the fullest, even as far as dressing up in a bunny costume on Easter to visit at the residence at the local nursing homes. She liked to keep active and had a wide variety of interests. She loved to shop, but was just as satisfied at finding a good deal at any garage sale she could get to. While visiting FL, one of her favorite places, the hunt would be on the beach looking for sand dollars. While these were not able to be used for cash on a shopping trip, she enjoyed it non-the-less. Bunny enjoyed bowling, spending time in her flower garden, as well as, being an avid reader. You might find her crocheting while watching any number of her favorite TV shows, home videos, or as her family would call them...”her ridiculous soaps”. If you were to ask anyone, they would agree, she had a wonderful sense of humor and was a joy to be around. But, the greatest joy that was Linda’s was to spend time with her family and especially her grandchildren.

In addition to her loving husband; Keith, Linda is survived by her children; Angela (Gerald) Carlisle and Thomas May, both of salem, James May of Niles, Jesse (Heather) Wiengart of Mechanicsville, VA, sister; Marilyn “Kay” Bajorek of Chicago, 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

There will be no service at this time.
