Louise was born in Faribault, Minnesota to parents Leonard and Ruth Domrose. She moved to Los Angeles California at a very young age and graduated from Manual Arts High School, in Los Angeles, California. She married Richard Quick on March 18, 1948, but his untimely death left her a widow at age 31. She taught herself how to do furniture upholstery and successfully owned/operated “Quick Upholstery” shops in the states of California, Arizona, Georgia and ultimately in Salem, Ohio for over 50 years. She retired at age 83, still able to do upholstery.
Louise was an artist, she traveled all over the world throughout her life and she had many extended vacations in Ajijic, Mexico.
Her daughter, Jennifer, selected Blossom Nursing and Rehabilitation Center to care for her, when the time and need arose. The family has been grateful for Jennifer’s decision because Blossom has been exceptional in the care of Louise over the last 3 years. Thank you also to the staff at Crossroads Hospice.
At her request, Louise will be cremated and interred with her husband, Richard, at Los Angeles National Cemetery in Wilshire, California.
