Mary Lou (Collier) Zimmermann 85, of Columbiana, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2022, at her residence.
She was born on February 3, 1937, in Columbiana, the daughter of the late Frank J. and Rose (Bell) Collier.
Mary Lou was a lifelong resident of Columbiana and graduated from Columbiana High School class of 1955. Following high school, her professional working career was spent with several local engineering firms.
In addition to her family, Mary Lou enjoyed reading and summer vacations at Sunset Beach in North Carolina. She was a member of Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church in Columbiana and taught Sunday School for many years.
She is survived by her daughter; Stacey (Scott) Caron, sister; Willa McQuilkin, brother; Jim Collier, grandchildren; Ryan (Carly) and Quinn, great-grandchildren; Jayce and Garrett.
There will be no services at this time. A private service will be held at Sunset Beach at a later date.
