IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Patricia Ann
(Laneve) Clutter
September 19, 1952 – December 14, 2024
Patricia Ann (Laneve) Clutter 72, of Southern Terrace in Columbiana, passed away at 9:50 AM Saturday, December 14, 2024, surrounded by family.
She was born on September 19, 1952, in Wichita Falls, Texas, the daughter of Lawrence and Betty (Cochran) Laneve.
She was a 1971 graduate of East Liverpool High School. She was a glitzy and sparkling house wife/home maker, but had the most perfect timing to derail others schedules. Trish was famous for calling others and seemingly always finding (not on purpose) the wrong time. Her gift of gab with family and friends could go on for hours. Trish's stubbornness mixed with the simple quick whit/humor was such that she could give you a good backhander over the phone or in person. It was not uncommon to hear her laughing out loud about some of the most bizarre things during the day.
She was the go to person for movie trivia and others shows. Trish liked to cook but was thrilled to be able to teach her daughter Jennifer how to cook holiday meals and for other gatherings. Trish was not always perfect in her cooking; the running joke was burned bread "just like mom used to make" and she loved extra crispy pizzelles. It was known by many how she had a love for animals over the years. I think it could have been easily said that she had nine lives like a cat. Trish was a hard fighter in the most recent years with health issues. She was blessed to have her husband there at her side as more than a husband, but caregiver and support during her last years.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Stephen Clutter Sr., whom she married on June 28, 1973, her children: Stephen (Erica) Clutter Jr. of New Waterford and Jennifer Clutter of Columbiana, siblings: Debbie (Al) Bucher of Wellsville, Scherrie (Dan) Stewart of Chester, W.Va., Lawrence "Butch" (Carol) Laneve of Richmond, Lori Steel of Moon Twp., Pa., and Regina (Tim) Winters of East Liverpool, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and two step grandchildren.
The family has asked that donations be made in her memory to: Columbiana County Humane Society 1825 South Lincoln Avenue, Salem, Ohio 44460 or West Side Cats 4305 Market Street, Youngstown, Ohio 44512.
