Ronald Ingledue Obituary

Ronald Lee Ingledue 72, of (Franklin Twp) Hanoverton, died at 12:26 AM Thursday, April 28, 2022, surrounded by family at his home.

He was born on November 13, 1949, at home in Salem, the son of Charles and Gertrude A. (Roessler) Ingledue.

Ron was a lifetime area resident and was last employed at Colfor Mfg. In Salem. He also was a mechanic for Jeff Gorby. He had attended United Local Schools.

In his younger years, he was quite the man. You may not ever know where he might pop up. A social type of guy, traveling around and finding a good game of pool, smoking cigarettes, talk about old cars and put down a couple cold ones or more. A true lover of the old country music that allowed him to kick up his heel and do some dancing.

There was a time where he went hunting and fishing with his son. They just enjoyed the outdoors to the fullest. He found enjoyment out putting up hay, feeding the cattle, wrenching on the farm equipment and being with his family. The many memories that were made in the evenings around big bonfires, him joking around, being silly after having had some to drink. If he was not out making sure the grass was properly groomed, he was probably in watching a good movie.

Ron loved his entire family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his son Ronald C (Ruth) Ingledue, grandchildren; Matthew Sturgeon, Kevin (Katie) Sturgeon and Nicholas (Sara) Sturgeon, great grandchildren; Aiden, Mac, Zoey, Haylee, Miles and one on the way.

Siblings; Gertrude “Cookie” Newman, Wanda Lopez, Hallie Barnard, Kenny, William, Robert, Oliver, Allen and Frederick Ingledue.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings; Helen Schultz, Charles, Larry and John Ingledue.

There will be no services held at this time.
