Rose Alice Andrews

Rose Alice (Aliulis) Andrews 96, of Center Township, Lisbon, died at 2:48 AM Tuesday, July 27, 2021, in the emergency room at Salem Regional Medical Center.

She was born on August 9, 1924, (at the family home where she currently resided) the daughter of the late George and Alice (Stankus) Aliulis.

Rose has been a lifetime area resident and a 1941 Graduate of David Anderson High School. She was an assembly line worker at GM Lordstown until retirement in 1988.

Rose was a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church and very active in her day. She was always involved in the church dinners, the Altar and Rosary Society and all other events there. Rose loved her flowers and enjoyed being outside working in the dirt planting her flowers. Her hands were never idle, indoors was quilting, working on things around the house.

She had her beloved dog and cats that were her children that needed loved and cared for. She also followed sports and liked the Pittsburgh Steelers. The love of traveling was always in her blood, but become more so after retirement. She took car trips in the states and flew to many places as well as to Europe several times.

She is survived by her daughter Barbara Ann (Joseph) Beachler of Lisbon, four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and four great great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Andrews who died in World War 2, and brothers George and Edward.

A Mass will be held on Saturday, 12 Noon, July 31, 2021, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church 11297 Gavers Rd., Hanoverton, Ohio 44423. The Father Thomas P. Dyer will be officiating. The burial will follow in St. Pauls Cemetery. The time of visitation will be from 11:30 to noon at the church on Saturday.
