Ross Adair Codner, 83, of Washingtonville, OH, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman, OH.
He was born on July 7, 1938, in Youngstown, OH, to his late parents; Robert and Laverne (Peterson) Codner.
Ross was a member of the United States Army from September of 1961 until September of 1964 and the beginning of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed traveling, which was good as he was employed as a truck driver for Himrod Radiator in San Antonio, TX. Additionally, he did landscaping in Idaho for 11 years. He married his wife; Doris (Cunningham) Codner, in March of 1975. Together they spent 46 years building a wonderful life. Along with traveling, Ross enjoyed working with leather and woodworking. To relax, you might find him watching a little TV.
In addition to his wife, Ross is survived by his daughter; Sherry Cracraft, step-son; Randy (Joni Smith) Dillow, sibling; Roberta (William) Koupiaris, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Along with his parents, Ross is preceded in death by his son; Ross Codner III, step-son Bruce Dillow, and 2 grandchildren.
There will be no services.
