Suzanne Martin Obituary

Suzanne L. “Harley Sue” (Greer) Martin 68, of Salem, died Early Saturday Morning, June 11, 2022 at Salem Regional Medical Center.

She was born on January 29, 1954, in Youngstown, Ohio, the daughter of the late Seth Greer and Genevieve (Shanks) McAffee.

Suzanne or Harley Sue as she was also known was quite a special lady. Her Harley motorcycle was very special to her and she enjoyed it over the years. A high point was her taking a bike ride out to Sturgis, SD for bike week and visit the museum of bikes.

She was involved with her daughter growing up in Mahoning County 4H “Rabbitears”. She continued to be a sponsor in the organization over the years. Sue loved all her animals including her cat “Lily”. The holidays were always a big time for her as well as going out to eat on birthdays. She was a very special “Grammy”, and knew how to spoil the grandchildren with pizza, candy, drinking Mt. Dew, being funny and never stop loving. There were many special times she got to have them sleep over.

She is survived by her daughter; Melissa E. (Aaron) Baker of Hanoverton, Step children; Rob (Erin) Davies of Youngstown and Stacy Davies of Cleveland, and five grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Seth Greer.
