Tracey Marie Manion

Tracey Marie Manion, 61, of Salem, OH, transitioned peacefully on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022, at 4:57PM, with her family by her side.

A Celebration of Life Gathering to honor, " Our dear mama, sister, aunt and friend" on December 3, 2022, 5 to 8 PM at the Salem Eagles Club (1884 North Ellsworth Avenue, Salem, Ohio 44460)

Tracey was born March 13, 1961, in Louisville, KY to Wilbert Lee and LInda Ray Manion, Jr.

Tracey moved to Salem, OH in the 1990’s, when her mother relocated for her job with American Standard. Tracey loved her childhood home in Louisville, KY, where she returned often to visit. She was well known, here in Salem, by many people who frequented Speedway, where she worked for over 20 years. Tracey, an avid pool player participated in the APA Pool League for 8 and 9 ball for many years. She also had a great love for the holidays, and enjoyed watching Christmas movies. Her greatest love was her family. Tracey held a very special place in her heart for children, especially her nieces and nephews whom she helped raise like her own.

She was preceded in death by her father, mother, aunts- Carol Sherrod, Barbara Jordan; Uncles- Tommy Manion and Pinky.

She is survived by her 4 brothers: Tommy D. Manion of Louisville, KY; Anthony “Tony” Manion, of Salem, OH; Todd E. Manion of Louisville, KY and Troy F. (Glenda) Manion of Round Rock, TX; half brother Dominic M. Bearthfield, Bude, MS; aunt Willie Pearl Manion of Louisville, KY; as well as a “Son in her heart” Jimmie DuBose of Salem, OH. She also leaves to cherish her memories to her nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.

Services were held at 4501 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40218. There will be a wake on Friday November 25, from 5-7PM. She will be laid to rest on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2022, at 10 AM with burial at Louisville Memorial Cemetery.
