William F. Homan 76, of Lisbon, died Monday afternoon, March 7, 2022, at his home in Lisbon, OH. He was the son of the late Vernon (Cap) Homan and Helen (Davis) Homan.
A life-long resident of Lisbon, Bill is perhaps best remembered as the owner and “go-to” problem solver at Bill’s True Value. Before that, Bill served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and retired from Buckeye Industrial Mining. Bill spent his retirement years restoring antique cars, fishing, and even golfing on occasion. He enjoyed spending time with good friends and his family.
Bill is survived by his wife of over 54 years, Helen Marie (Hurst) Homan, his sons; Michael Kent (Angela) Homan of Rochester, Mi., and David Scott (Kelly) Homan of Atlanta, Ga., grandchildren; Sophie Homan, Branden Homan and Kyle Foster, siblings; Daniel (Jerri) Homan of Canton and Vada Janean (James) Wargo of Salineville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Vernon Leroy Homan Jr.
There will be a remembrance for Bill held at a later date.
