William Lee “Bill” Dudley 84, of Salem, died at 9:05 PM Wednesday, March 30, 2022, in the emergency room of Salem Regional Medical Center.

He was born on October 5, 1937, in Ellsworth, Ohio, the son of the late Luther Ashford and Thalia (Barnes) Dudley.

He was a veteran of the US Army where he Honorably served during his tour of duty. He departed as an SP4, served as an MP, and was afforded the opportunity to jump from a plane.

Bill was known for his knack and ability to collect and save things over the years. He was big into antiques, guns, and just plain old things. His reading found him following those same topics and then watching things on the TV.

Bill was a member of the Beaver Creek Sportsman Club and was known over the years for running their turkey shoots. He will always be remembered for all those stories he told from his life experiences.
