William "Billy" Deavers Obituary

William “Billy” Russell Deavers, passed away at his Champion home on Monday; Oct. 4, 2021.

Bill was born on September 14, 1964. Bill was born in Tunnelton, WV. He was the son of Charles and Aiko (Tomori) Deavers.

He attended Rayen High school and later got his GED. He was an amazing mechanic, an avid car lover and Dallas Cowboys fan. He also spent many years as a truck driver. Billy enjoyed boating on the lake, playing ping pong in the basement, and having a good time with family and friends.

Billy is survived by his sisters; Charlene Dixon (Michael) of Tunnelton, WV, Amy Smith (Jeff) of Conway, SC, friend; Jeannie Sheely (Caitlyn and “Billy’s Boy” Derek) of Columbiana, OH, son; Brian Slaughter (Alli and daughter Estella) of Girard, OH, his many nieces and nephews; Nakesha Oliver (Jason and sons Sean, Lucas and Beau) of Beaver Falls, PA, Shawna Simpson (children Mack and Kya) of Austintown, OH, Mercedes Simpson (children Kimreane and John) of Beaver Falls, PA, Amanda Smith (Matt and daughters Alea and Aleyna Naar) of Charleston, SC, Samantha Smith (son Enzo) of Loris, SC, Preston Smith (Chey and children Kash and Aiko) of Little River, SC, Jessica Merrell (children Stephen, PJ and Joella) of Youngstown, OH.

Bill is proceeded in death by his parents, his sister; Mary Siciliano and brother; Johnny Deavers.

A small memorial will be held at Boardman park at the Georgeanna Parker Activity Center, Sunday Oct. 10th starting at 530pm, open door!
